once upon a time, there lived a very wise cute owl.

the owl had taught many birdies to fly.
some flew high....and the owl was very glad & happy.
although alot of sorrows always follow right after the birdies learnt to fly and leave the owl, but the sorrows were always covered by the happiness that was brought to the owl to see her birdies become better birds in lives.
''what can be better to see these kids pursue the right things?'' the owl hooted with the little hope that these birds will not forget her and come back some day to visit her.
but she wouldn't ask for more.
some learnt to fly but were to lazy to continue flipping their wings while they were up high in the sky thinking that since they are up there already, they will be up there. eventually they fell and clashed onto the ground, back to where they were from the very start.
in most cases these birds ended up in a worse-off state before they learned how to fly...the owl was devasted and disappointed.
''why did they not heed my advices?'' the owl sigh with more remorses that she couldn't do more for those birds than blaming those birds for making her believe that they really wanted to fly although they only learn to fly for the sake of flying.
on the other hand, there was a little sparrow mixing around with a groups of chicks. the sparrow was happy jumping around together with the chicks.
''hopping around is the best way to move around the field. we are so happy living in the field. the farmer will feed us. why work so hard to learn how to fly?'' mother hen told the chicks.
and so, for many years the sparrow was brought up in a way thinking that all she had to do is to hop around in the field and she don't have to worry about finding food outside the field.
years went by. the chicks were well fed and 1 by 1 the chicks turned chicken were slaughtered when they were about the right size. soon, the sparrow was left alone in the field.
the owl found the sparrow and took it out of the field and told her, ''now look, this is the real world. look at the other birds, they are working hard because they wanna see the world. do you want to see the world?''
''yes oh yes. i wanna see the world. i'll change. i'll learn to fly. tell me wat to do oh wise owl.'', the sparrow chirped.
and so the owl told the sparrow why she had to fly and how she can fly.
however with the wrong mentality due to her brought up, the young sparrow don't trust the owl. after much sharing with the sparrow, all the sparrow could react is to think:'' why did the owl know so much about me? why is she trying so hard to change me? i m happy in my state. the things she asked me to do, looks like it will kill me.''
the owl knew how the sparrow thought and was sad. but she knew she shouldn't juz gave up on the sparrow so easily cos all she can wished for is for the sparrow to fly.
so she gave the little sparrow another lesson. again the sparrow tried to ran out of her teachings and the owl was upset.
the sparrow was living in her own comfort zone and disregards the owl and the new friends she had made outside the field. little did she realise the chicks had left her and her new frenz whom tried to accept her into their lives were rejected by herself with her own doings.
the owl simply can't bear to see the sparrow in such a sorry state with a sinking life so she decided to give the sparrow 1 last chance.
''do you really want to change your life?'' the owl asked.
''yes please help me. i am lost. i don't know what to do.everything is going wrong in my life.'' the sparrow cried.
the owl continue:'' u can always learn to fly and catch up with your frenz and fly together with them if you want. no one ever ditch you. it's you whom insisted and refused to fly with the other.
you said you want to fly, but i must tell you 1st that the process to fly is not going to be easy. i can guide you to fly but i can't prevent you from fallin while learning to fly. you can curse and swear at me for forcing you to fly however i can ensure you the day you can fly, you will not regret whatever you are going through now. the question now is: are you willing to fall?''
and the sparrow kept quiet...
the end.
moral of the story: nothing can ever be done/changed if everything is only about claims and one doesn't even want to commit to the simplest requirement.
