Well done C girls for being the 1st batch of Kranjians to make the dream come true! Do continue to dream on and dream BIGGER.
Of course, while you are feeling happy and proud of your achievement, I want you to some gratitude to the people who gave us the dream and worked very hard to make this team possible today. If not for them basketball may already has been disband, you wouldn’t be in this school and I may not be coaching here anymore…
So I want you to appreciate these people like I do and give them your utmost respect that we are a team we are today!!

If not for him, I won’t even be in Kranji. Thanks for choosing me to coach in this school although I’ve 0 experience at that point of time. Thanks for all the trusts and supports that you have given me all the while. Sorry I wanted to give you a top 4 last year but failed, now I’ve done it you had left us to embark in another journey…. But still I want to share this glory with you.
On this route,
the 1st batch of KSS seniors under me told me their dream. With their sincerity, I promised them I’ll make their dreams come true.The dream of getting into top4 was established since then. Unfortunately, dream did not create the miracle we hoped for but they are the team that earned the respect for team KSS in west zone with their never dying spirit fighting spirit. My 2 months with them was so great that it seemed as if we’ve known each other for the longest time. So for these people I told myself: I’ll not give up on Kranji until the day I fulfill my promise to them.
Therefore, the burden of realizing the dream falls on the 1st official batch of people namely: Zelia’s batch and the next batch to come namely: Jasmine’s batch. With a combination of very hardworking people, we were threatening but just not enough for top 4, always hanging around at the 5th, 6th position. But every year, we just see ourselves getting closer and closer to top 4. Always so close…yet so far!
Jasmine’s batch which seemed most promising was 7points away from top 4.
Wan’s batch which seemed less promising amazingly got into top 4 for 5mins until we got played out by Nanyang girls and jurong west.
Recent years, a lot wouldn’t have been successful without our dearest Miss Wong and Mr. Tan. No well organized camps, no extra trainings/friendlies/tournament, no successful appeals would have been possible without our dearest 2. and even better, now we have miss chew in the FORCE too!
Love them man!!
So please be very grateful to them especially people like Zhenling, Isabel, Jacy, Weixin. Don’t be like some pigs…appeal in then quit and go grow fat!
TEAM, today we may have made dream come true but remember to stay humble and grateful.
TEAM, today we have achieved top 4 therefore we should learn to dream bigger and achieve higher.
