I guess nothing needs to be argued now that the team is confirmed.
I can't help that you chose to leave your position in other people's hand, I can only hope for you that they will not be so overwhelmed in getting selected that they forgot how they sacrifice another to get in.
I only hope they don't forget to fight to go into nationals to buy the other a chance into the team again.

For the rest who made it to the team,
please play hard for yourself and your teammates.
Make sure you can answer:
1. to me(whom put my reputation at stake for promising the school with results in exchange for the appeals)

2. to people who can't fight for the team themselves i.e. teammates not in team/seniors/teachers (whom got no choice but to entrust their dreams to you),

3. to your teammates in the team(whom need you to be strong to make them stronger),

4. and most importantly to yourself!
